Expression of Interest are invited for Guinea Bissau Telecom - Communication firm The Government of Guinea Bissau (GoGB) intends to introduce private sector participation through a sale of shares of the state-owned Guine Telecom and its mobile subsidiary Guine Tel. To that end, this government wishes to competitively select a private telecom Operator who would acquire 80% of the shares of Guine Telecom and Guine Tel (the Project). IFC is soliciting expressions of interest (EOI) from Communication firms (the Consultant). The ideal candidate would have extensive experience in mass communication strategy, including stakeholder mapping, crisis management and mass communication campaigns in support of public sector reforms programs or privatizations in West Africa in particular. The Consultant will support IFC in the implementation of the Project in 2 phases: phase 1 would cover due diligence and structuring as well as the prequalification of investors and phase 2 will involve the tender of the transaction, competitive dialog up to closing of the transaction. The Consultant will work in collaboration with other IFC-hired consultants (legal, technical and auditors) and will be part of the IFCs transaction team. Firm requirements IFC invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing their services by submitting a response n French to this Request for Expression of Interest (REoI). Following the completion of the EOI stage, the detailed Terms of Reference and other relevant information will be provided to the shortlisted candidates. Responses must be in the French language and shall not exceed 20 pages, with CVs in annex., IFC reserves the right to reject responses over 20 pages.
