• Expression of Interest are invited for Selection of Consultants for Technical Assistance to the Project Ownership, as Part of the Autonomous Sanitation Project of the Dakar Region (Paad) The main objective of the project is to improve the rate of access to improved sanitation in the Dakar region, by acting on all links of the on-site sanitation value chain. It will focus on 03 main components, the objectives of which are indicated below. Component 1: It focuses on improving access to an adequate sanitation system in households, schools and health centers and should take into account the following guidelines: • For household access, two intervention zones "excluding collective sanitation" by 2030 will be targeted to build around 10,000 structures (toilets and gray water management devices) with semi-open specifications respecting ideal types but leaving room for innovation; • In schools, this will involve building or rehabilitating sanitation facilities in elementary and secondary schools (2,000 new toilets, 700 toilets to be rehabilitated, 1,000 urinals, 100 hand washing devices, 500 bins, some drinking water connections in schools that use water from wells or standpipes and water reservoirs and tree planting wherever possible). • In the health centers, this will involve the construction of 9 new toilets, 80 toilets to be rehabilitated, 15 hand washing devices and devices for waste management and pre-treatment of wastewater as needed.
